Why this event?
The life of an UiPath Developer is exciting, but can also be quite challenging. You're the bridge between the business and IT. Involved with the optimization of business processes before automation. Working with many different applications and technologies. Engaging with many different stakeholders. But also: trying to keep up to date with UiPath releases, products and best practices.
And think about the first automations you've build; would you be building these the same way nowadays?
Although your learning curve is sky-high, it's still a challenge to keep yourself up-to-date. You're being spammed with RPA webinars, articles and trainings. Often focused on RPA in general, and in less extent on the technical expertise of RPA Developers.
We believe there's great value in knowledge sharing amongst UiPath Developers. Not reinventing the wheel on your own island, but coming together to share tips & tricks that accelerate your learning curve.
The UiPath DEV meet-ups are focused on knowledge sharing amongst developers. From coding standards to exception handling to new Studio activities to the integration of AI. Everything that helps you in building high-quality automations.
Who can join?
UiPath Developers in the Netherlands and anyone from the UiPath global community interested in our experience exchange. This is an EN language event.
Agenda
15:00 - Introduction
15:15 - Combining SQL & UiPath by Pedro Semensim (Senior Apps Specialist @Darling Ingredients)
"During this meet-up we show an example case how we would get data in an ERP system using UiPath activities, and how we would get the same data using two different SQL processes. It shows how easy and more reliable the SQL integration is, and how you as a RPA Developer can start using this in our own automations."
15:35 - Technical demo UiPath Document Understanding + Action Center case by Barend van Rooij (RPA Developer @Tacstone)
"One of our customers processes a large amount of paper and digital documents from the UWV and Belastingdienst. We've used UiPath Document Understanding and Action Center to automate this process. In this short demo we share some lessons learned about the implementation and best practices for you as a RPA Developer to apply these new UiPath products."
15:55 - UiPath Automation on COUPA using API by Ronak Gupta (RPA Solution Architect @TomTom)
"In TomTom, we are using COUPA as purchasing system. To manage the discrepancies that occurs between goods receipt and invoice receipt when differences occur. This difference needs to be written back and kept in line with SAP amounts.
To solve this use case we have built an UiPath automation on COUPA with API calls. Robots are making API calls to change the status of the purchase order line item in COUPA. Also, we are making reverse receipt on the amount based PO line items via API calls."
16:15 - Round-up, Q&A
