About this event

Documents rarely arrive clean, consistent, or ready for automation. Teams need extraction they can trust, not just text pulled from a page.

This hands-on Bellevue TechEd workshop focuses on the document side of UiPath IXP: classify a packet, extract reliable data, validate the result, and use newer capabilities on documents that were previously too unstructured to automate.

Build a working document extraction flow: classify mixed packets, extract key fields, validate results, and handle harder unstructured documents.

Please bring a laptop. The session includes guided lab work so participants can follow along rather than only watch a presentation.

Who should attend

  • This hands-on technical training is best for technical evaluators and builders from customer IT, Automation CoE, automation engineering, platform administration, and solution architecture teams.
  • Business sponsors who want to understand the technology details that power their business outcomes are also welcome.

What participants will do

  • Classify document types inside a mixed packet and route exceptions for review.
  • Extract structured fields, validate outputs, and prepare reliable data for downstream use.
  • Apply newer IXP capabilities to unstructured or complex documents using taxonomy, prompts, evidence review, and workflow handoff.
  • Leave with a working pattern for turning messy documents into validated, workflow-ready data.

The first day of the workshop will focus on Document AI fundamentals and extraction models.
