You'll need to demonstrate your activity from the last two quarters, Q1 [Feb–Apr] & Q2 [May–Jul]. All submitted contributions undergo a quality review; recognition is awarded based on the quality and impact of your contributions during the review period.

What is the difference between the Automation Champion and MVP Program?

The Automation Champion Program is designed for newer active community members who consistently contribute and want to grow their presence and recognition in the UiPath ecosystem. The MVP Program recognizes long-standing contributors with deeper technical understanding of the UiPath Platform and a higher bar of impact.

Do I need to apply every six months?

You apply once to join the program. Your Champion status is reviewed every six months: you'll need to keep meeting the mandatory requirements plus at least one contribution activity each quarter to maintain it. If you fall short in a quarter, your status may be paused or removed.

Can an MVP become an Automation Champion, or vice versa?

MVPs are not required to join the Champion Program; they already represent the highest tier of community recognition. However, active Champions who consistently demonstrate impact, leadership, and community engagement may be considered for MVP nomination in the future.

Do I need to be technical to be part of this program?

You need at least a foundational understanding of the UiPath Platform, but you don't need to be an expert. Whether you're a developer, a business analyst, or someone who's just completed a UiPath certification, what matters most is your engagement and willingness to contribute to the community.

Can a student be part of this program?

Currently, the Automation Champion Program is not open to students. However, we have a dedicated program designed specifically for students who are passionate about growing within the UiPath ecosystem: the UiPath Student Developer Champions Program.
